Drop In Daycare

FAQ

How does this work?

  • We are an hourly, drop-in daycare, meaning we are not a full time, traditional daycare. We’re here for you when you need us! Think of us more like a “stable sitter”, we’re always here for those date nights, doctors appointments, errand running, and other kid free things you’d like to do. We are open 9-6 Monday through Friday and 10-4 Saturday. (Earlier and later times available by appointment)

What do I need to bring?

  • We ask that if your child is in diapers that you bring a diaper bag with wipes and at least 1 diaper for each hour they are staying. You are also welcome to bring a cup (we have water fountains) and a snack. If your child is staying 1-2 hours it is appropriate to being a snack, and if they stay 3-4 hours please send a meal. We eat lunch around 11-12 and dinner around 5-6 and snacks at various times throughout the day. If your child is potty training, please pack a spare change of clothes as well. Just as a note, it is always better to be over prepared than under prepared

Do I need to make an appointment?

  • Appointments aren’t required during our normal operating hours, however, if you know you are coming, it is helpful to schedule an appointment. Also, if you are a family of 3 or more, we request that you schedule an appointment or call to make sure we can accommodate an appointment. Appointments are required for Sunday hours and must be made 24 hours in advance.

Are you open on the weekends?

  • We are open on the weekends! We are open 10-4 Saturdays and We do Parent’s Night Out a few Saturdays a month.

Can my child stay longer than 4 hours?

  • Because we are drop in the state of North Carolina only allows children to stay in our care for 4 hours. However, we do have two full time spots that remain open for emergencies, so we do have some flexibility for all day care. We ask that you reach out to us so that we can ensure we have proper staffing and the availability necessary.

Do you have separate rooms for different ages?

  • We are set up like one large playroom, all ages play together. We do have a gated area for our infants and toddlers for nap time, or small group play.

 What is your sick policy?

  • We follow NC state guidelines in regards to our sick policy. If a child has had a fever/vomiting/ diarrhea/lice or nits/ or pink eye, they must be symptom free for 24 hours before they can return.
